Project Manager

Sted: Sotkamo Stillingstype: Fulltid Søknadsfrist: 30.09.2026

About the Position:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to strengthen our project organization in Helsinki, Finland.
This role will initially focus primarily on power generation projects, including backup power systems, distributed energy solutions, and critical infrastructure installations. Over time, the role will also support projects within Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and other energy-related solutions as our business continues to grow.
Unlike a traditional office-based project management role, this position requires a significant presence on project sites. You will be expected to spend substantial time travelling to ongoing projects, supporting execution activities, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects from contract award through commissioning and final handover. You will act as the key link between customers, suppliers, contractors, site personnel, and the wider BOS Power organization, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will become part of our Nordic project organization, working closely with colleagues across Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, where experience and expertise are actively shared across borders.
Your primary task will be to keep projects on track by ensuring progress, coordinating contractors, suppliers, and customers, and making sure projects are delivered to the agreed standards, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with multiple suppliers and customers simultaneously and maintain a clear overview across several active sites.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead power generation, energy infrastructure, and ESS projects from contract award to final handover
•    Maintain a regular on-site presence to support project execution and monitor progress
•    Coordinate customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal resources throughout the project lifecycle
•    Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and contractual obligations
•    Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications
•    Resolve technical, commercial, and operational challenges as they arise
•    Work closely with Site Managers, Service Teams, Engineering, and Sales organizations
•    Prepare project reports, forecasts, and customer updates
•    Support tendering and pre-sales activities for new projects
•    Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement throughout the Nordic organization

Who Are You?

You are a structured and proactive project professional who enjoys being close to the projects and the people delivering them.
You are comfortable balancing commercial, technical, and operational priorities while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and project success.
Qualifications and Experience
•    Experience managing projects within power generation, electrical installations, energy, industrial systems, technical infrastructure or construction.
•    Experience with generator systems, power plants, backup power, or critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable
•    Experience with Energy Storage Systems (ESS) is considered an advantage
•    Strong communication skills with tradespeople, management, and customers
•    Excellent coordination and organizational abilities
•    Ability to manage and maintain oversight of multiple sites simultaneously
•    Valid driver's license (Category B) and willingness to travel throughout Finland
•    Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
•    Swedish is considered an advantage

What We Offer:

•    A varied role with a high degree of independence and responsibility
•    A key role in delivering critical energy and infrastructure projects across Finland
•    A strong and supportive team with a high level of technical expertise
•    Exciting projects within critical infrastructure across Finland
•    A dynamic position combining project leadership with hands-on site involvement
•    The opportunity to be part of a solid Nordic organization
•    Attractive employment terms and relevant work equipment
•    Opportunities for both professional and personal development
